The Board of EISAP is chaired by Mr. Robert Lorenz-Meyer.
Born in 1962, Mr Lorenz-Meyer is a graduate of St. Gallen University with more than 25 years’ experience in the shipping industry. He is Chairman of Ernst Russ GmbH & Co, founded in 1893, and one of Germany’s most established shipping companies.
Between 2009 and 2011 Mr. Lorenz-Meyer served as President of the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO). With more than 2,200 members, Copenhagen-headquartered BIMCO is the world’s largest international shipping association.
Mr. Prabhat Jha, Group Managing Director of MSC Shipmanagement Limited, is Vice-President of EISAP.
The EISAP Board of Association also counts a number of shipowners with vessels registered in MAR.
The President of the General Assembly of EISAP, Dr. Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, is senior partner at SRS Lawyers, a leading law firm in Portugal.
Dr. Rebelo de Sousa served as a board member of Simmons & Simmons in London from 2004 until 2009 and as a partner.
In the banking sector he has held the roles of Vice President of the International Division of Financial Markets - Citibank N.A. in New York and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Bank Fonsecas & Burnay, S.A., with responsibility for privatisation.
Dr. Rebelo de Sousa is also currently Chairman of the Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance.
