Who we are
The European International Shipowners’ Association of Portugal (EISAP) represents more than 80% of owners of ships sailing under the Portuguese flag.
It is a private association, founded in 2016.
EISAP is headquartered in Funchal, the capital of the region of Madeira. This ensures proximity
to the International Business Centre of Madeira, of which the International Shipping Register
of Madeira (MAR) is part. EISAP is also present by an office in Lisbon, thereby ensuring closer direct business connections to associates.
