The European International Shipowners’ Association of Portugal (EISAP) represents the majority of owners of ships sailing under the Portuguese flag. It is a private association, founded in 2016.

EISAP is headquartered in Funchal, the capital of the Madeira region. This ensures proximity to the International Business Centre (IBC) of Madeira, which includes the International Shipping Register of Madeira (MAR). EISAP also maintains an office in Lisbon, providing closer and more direct business connections with its associates.
